Queens of the Stone Age added to Way Out West line-up

Robyn and Royksopp, The Julie Ruin and MØ also confirmed for Swedish event

Queens Of The Stone Age have been added to the line-up for Sweden's Way Out West festival.

Josh Homme and his band will play the event, which takes place at Slottsskogen, Gothenburg between August 7-9, 2014. Other new acts announced today (February 10) include Robyn, Royksopp, The Julie Ruin and .

Last week it was revealed that The National, Janelle Monáe and Neutral Milk Hotel, Blood Orange, Jenny Wilson, and Joey Bada$$ will all play at the festival in August.

Now in its seventh year, previous artists to appear at Way Out West include St. Vincent, Kraftwerk, Solange, Tame Impala, Mogwai, The Knife and Odd Future. Alongside the main festival, Stay Out West takes place at various venues across the city. Jungle, Jonathan Wilson and Circa Waves will all play live as part of the side event.

Way Out West is also the first European festival to have a vegetarian policy on site since 2012.
