The final part of the second series, ‘Fool In Love’ saw Toast (Berry) discovering that he has a love rival in the shape of the Queens Of The Stone Age frontman. Homme and Berry star in the episode alongside Morgana Robinson, who is the half-sister of Homme’s wife, musician Brody Dalle.

Meanwhile, at the end of October, former Queens Of The Stone Age bassist Nick Oliveri reunited with his old band for an encore set following their gig at The Forum in Los Angeles. Oliveri – sporting a set of devil horns on his head – took to the stage during the Halloween-themed show to perform six songs, some of which had not been played live by the band in over a decade, including ‘Quick And To The Pointless’, ‘Auto Pilot’ and ‘Another Love Song’.

Josh Homme fired his long-time friend from the band in 2004 amid rumours that he’d been violent towards his then girlfriend. He briefly returned in 2012 to contribute vocals to the track ‘If I Had A Tail’ on the album ‘…Like Clockwork’. Asked by NME whether the on-stage appearance could be a precursor to him rejoining on a permanent basis, Oliveri asserted it was squarely a decision for the frontman (who in-keeping with the Halloween theme performed in a priest costume). “That’s pretty much up to Josh. It’s his band, and when he pulls the trigger on something, it’s up to him,” he said.
