R. Kelly divorce from wife finalised
The couple will share joint custody of their three children
The divorce between R Kelly and his wife Andrea has been finalised, putting an end to their 11-year marriage.
The couple, who have three children together, separated in 2005 after Andrea filed an emergency restraining order against the controversial singer. At the time, she told a court that Kelly had
physically abused, harassed and stalked her.
Details of the financial settlement between the pair have not been made public, but they will share joint custody of their children, reports usmagazine.com .
Kelly was acquitted of child pornography charges last June after a trial in Chicago.
