R Kelly has revealed that he has filmed 20 new chapters of his infamous hip-hop opera Trapped In The Closet.

The R&B singer was quizzed on the future of the series in a new interview with Time, which also saw the singer talking about his new album and Single Ladies Tour.

Asked about the future of Trapped In The Closet, Kelly said: "We just shot 20 chapters. They’ll be coming out the day after Thanksgiving. Trapped In The Closet is forever. I’ve got, like, a hundred chapters to come." Reiterating the permanent state of the series, Kelly added: "It's forever."

The day after Thanksgiving is often referred to as Black Friday and this year falls on November 23.

R Kelly recently spoke about his next album 'Black Panties', which he described as similar to his 1993 album '12 Play', which included tracks titled 'Sex Me', 'I Like The Crotch On You' and 'Freak Dat Body'. ??

Speaking earlier this year, he said: "When you've done twenty-something years, man, of giving people what they want, and satisfying people – people like to say they're making babies off your music, they're doing all this – it makes me feel good, but at the same time, it makes me say, 'OK, now it's time to go and do something that's in me that I want to do and get out.' The name of my next album is 'Black Panties' - that's my next '12 Play'."

Earlier this summer, R Kelly was forced to cancel his Love Letter Cruise after a row with the organiser over his fee.
