R Kelly announces details of new album 'Black Panties'
R Kelly has announced details of his new album, which will be called 'Black Panties'.

The rapper and star of his own, now infamous, hip-hop opera Trapped In The Closet revealed the title of his 12th solo album to fans at a listening session in Atlanta in the USA, HotNewHipHop reports.

The follow-up to 2012?s 'Write Me Back' will be released in November 11, he said. The album's lead single 'My Story', his collaboration with Future which features 2 Chainz has already been released – listen to it below.

"I'm more focussed than ever, because, much like the guy when he catch the football, he runs – and that's what I've got," he told fans. "I feel like I've got that ball in my hands still, and I'm still running. So my story is all of this: sex, money, broke, women, clubs and even church. It's all of those things, mixed up into one. I'm not afraid of it. I understand that it is the nature of life. This gift I have is a beautiful disease, and I'm glad I got it."

Earlier this year, Kelly revealed that he has been writing "a lot of country songs" for the album to prove that his talent was "more than just sexual songs".

"I used to get criticised for doing a 'Bump & Grind' then turning around and doing a gospel song. But the truth is I'm glad I have a gift that allows me to switch lanes," he said. "My talent is more than just sexual songs. There was a time I desperately needed for the world to know that I was no category guy. My whole goal in life was to reach that certain success where people will say, 'Hey, that guy can do anything. He's the Evil Knievel of music. He's jumping over 15 buses!"'
