US R&B singer says he festive collection will involve "a lot of lovemaking"

R Kelly to release Christmas album in 2014
R Kelly has revealed that he is working on a Christmas album and hopes to release it next year.

The R&B singer, who released new album 'Black Panties' earlier this week (December 9), told Rap-Up that he intends to release '12 Nights Of Christmas' in time for Christmas 2014 and that the album is one of "seven, eight albums" he is currently working on.

Discussing the Christmas album, R Kelly says: "I'm working on a Christmas album right now called the '12 Nights Of Christmas' and it’s gonna be a lot of lovemaking."

R Kelly continues: "I started it last Christmas actually, but I don't believe in just putting out a Christmas album just to sell records. In order to get that and capture that moment, you have to take a couple of Christmases and then you come with it."

Earlier this month R Kelly said that he "met his match" when working with Lady Gaga on her single 'Do What You Want'. The pair recently performed their duet, which appears on Gaga's new album 'ARTPOP', at the American Music Awards dressed as the President and his secretary.

Meanwhile, R Kelly recently set up a 'Black Panties Hotline' to promote his new album. Calling the number 312-380-6596 gives callers the option to receive eight messages a month from R Kelly, although the content of the messages is not made clear.
