Band urge people not to buy tickets for London date

Radiohead are warning fans not to be duped into buying tickets to a gig that isn’t happening.

The band have confirmed a UK tour for May, and will also play bigger festival shows in August. One thing the band won’t be doing however, is a show in London at Somerset House.

A spokesperson for the band told NME.COM: “Radiohead's management have asked fans not to send money for a gig being advertised at Somerset House in London on July 8. The band are not playing this show.”

The confirmed, sold-out tour visits:

Copenhagen KB Hall (May 6-7)
Amsterdam Heineken Hall (9-10)
Blackpool Empress Ballroom (12-13)
Wolverhampton Civic (15-16)
London Hammersmith Apollo (18-19)
V Festival (August 19-20)
Edinburgh Meadowbank Stadium (22)
Dublin Marlay Park (24)

Radiohead are also the cover stars of this week’s NME, which is out nationwide now.
