Radiohead have announced that they will not tour again until they have completed their follow up to 2003’s ’Hail To The Thief’.
The band are working on their new record with long-term producer Nigel Godrich, although no new material is expected to air until 2007.
However speaking at the Mercury Music Prize Thom Yorke told BBC 6 Music: "We've just done the festivals like V Festival, so we are going off for the rest of the year basically, until it's done - we're not let out 'til it's done."
Radiohead surprised fans during their headline slot at this year’s V Festival by playing a career spanning set that included a rare performance of their classic 1993 single ’Creep’
Meanwhile Yorke’s debut solo album, ’The Eraser’ was nominated for the Nationwide Mercury Prize, but was beaten by Arctic Monkeys ’Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not’.
