Radiohead’s 'In Rainbows' album will not be eligible to win a Brit Award for Best UK Album next year.
Artists in consideration for the Brits must have had a single or album in the Top 75 of the UK charts to be eligible.
Radiohead released 'In Rainbows' online, with fans choosing how much to pay for the album, and as such it did not enter the charts.
Similarly, Prince cannot be nominated in any categories, as his last album, 'Planet Earth', was given away free with a newspaper, and as such also did not enter the charts.
