Miley Cyrus has spoken out against her one-time "favourite" band, Radiohead. In an interview with a Portland radio station reprinted by Pitchfork, the teen star vented her anger at the band for snubbing her at this year's Grammy Awards.

The singer, who claims Radiohead are "the reason I love music", was less than amused when the band turned down an invitation to meet her backstage at the Los Angeles event last month.

Apparently, when she extended the invitation to meet the band, Radiohead's team told Cyrus's people that "the band doesn't really do that."

"The reason I'm in this business is to make people happy," she said, implying that Radiohead aren't. She added, "I left 'cause I was so upset. I wasn't going to watch. Stinkin' Radiohead! I'm gonna ruin them, I'm going to tell everyone."

I swear to god....i was going to leave her alone and let her do her thing, but seriously why would a band like that want to be pestered by this untalented little girl. Hes clearly more concerned about global warming, and to be fair, anything is more interesting than Miley 'i cant even write my own songs' Cyrus! EPIC FAIL!

Music was never about making people 'happy.' Music was about expressing yourself. Using a medium as a guiding light for people to look inward. If I were Radiohead, I would be ashamed Miley Cyrus listened to us as well. Miley is in the business for the wrong reasons, not Radiohead. How juvenile does saying 'stinkin radiohead' sound? No one is going to listen to Miley Cyrus anyways. She is going to ruin no one.

Annie Lennox once walked past me four years ago and didn't fall at my feet. I am coming to terms with this and I am sure you will too. Miley, if you knew anything about the band beyond their music, you couldn't really call yourself surprised. As for 'turned down invitation' - that sounds painfully precious. GO AWAY.

I somehow don't think Miley's threats sound very serious. I think she's just venting. You know how it is when sixteen-year-olds have their hearts set on something and then don't get it. Dissing Kanye, sure, that I can understand, but Miley's just a kid. Granted, a vapid, loud, entitled kid who travels everywhere with a huge pose that would probably have been removed surgically from the green room, but still!
