Radiohead to debut new material at Reading And Leeds Festivals

Plus band release 'These Are My Twisted Words' as free download

Radiohead's Jonny Greenwood has confirmed that the band are preparing to play new material at their headline Reading And Leeds Festivals shows later this month.

The band have also made a new song, 'These Are My Twisted Words', available to download free, after it leaked online on August 13.

Writing on the band's Dead Air Space blog at Radiohead.com, the guitarist said Radiohead are likely to give a live debut the new song at the shows.

"So here's a new song, called 'These Are My Twisted Words'," he wrote. "We've been recording for a while, and this was one of the first we finished. We're pretty proud of it. There's other stuff in various states of completion, but this is one we've been practising, and which we'll probably play at this summer's concerts. Hope you like it."

Greenwood linked to a free high quality download of the track – which can be downloaded from Download.waste.uk.com.

Radiohead released another new song, 'Harry Patch (In Memory Of)', on August 5, which is also available to download at Download.waste.uk.com.

It had been rumoured that Radiohead were set to release a new EP today (August 17) - although this has yet to materialise.

The Reading And Leeds Festivals take place on August 28-30.

Gutted I'm missing this - there are only three bands left in my 15 year gigging life who I want to see - Goldfrapp, Vines and Radiohead. Then, my live life will be complete.
