Radiohead's drummer Philip Selway has said that the band were "astounded" by some of the remixes they were given for the new remix album of 'The King Of Limbs'.

The band released the album, which is titled 'TKOL RMX 123457', on October 10. It includes remixes by the likes of Caribou, Four Tet, Modeselektor and Jamie xx and compiles each of the remix EPs the band have released over recent months.

Speaking to The Ocelot, Selway said that the band believed 'The King Of Limbs' lent itself very well to being remixed and that they were overjoyed with the results.

Asked what Radiohead were currently doing, Selway said:

At the moment we're at this lovely stage where we can take a bit of time out to do our own thing. The remix album of 'The King Of Limbs' has just been released, which is really interesting. Out of all of our albums, 'The King Of Limbs' lends itself to remixing and some of the stuff that's come out of that is astounding.

The band are expected to announce a new world tour in the coming weeks, with guitarist Ed O'Brien recently saying: "We're finalising dates now, we'll be on the road from the end of February to November and we'll be playing in both the UK and US, the usual ports of call."

O'Brien also indicated that the band's live set will be largely drawn from 'The King Of Limbs'.

Philip Selway plays two solo gigs at Oxford's Pegasus Theatre on November 10 and 11. For more information about the shows and to purchase tickets, visit Pegasustheatre.org.uk.
