Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke has collaborated with dance maverick Flying Lotus on his new album, it has been confirmed.

According to Rolling Stone, Yorke will guest on a track on the producer's new album 'Until The Quiet Comes', which is due for release on October 1 in the UK and October 2 in the US.

Speaking about working with Yorke, the producer, whose real name is Steve Ellison, said: "I definitely respect what he's up to. But the biggest surprise to me in getting to know him is that he's a funny guy. He's the jokey one."

This is the second time Yorke has collaborated with Flying Lotus after he previously contributed vocals to the track '…And The World Laughs With You' on the producer's 2010 album 'Cosmogramma'.

Radiohead will tour the UK in the autumn, playing their first UK dates in over three years. The band first play a show at Manchester Arena on October 6 before playing two shows at London's O2 Arena on October 8 and 9. They will then undertake a full European tour. Caribou will provide support on all dates.

Last month, they were forced to reschedule seven shows following an incident in which a stage collapsed in Toronto, which killed crew member Scott Johnson and injured three others. The gigs, which were due to take place in Italy, Germany and Switzerland, have all been moved to late September.
