RADIOHEAD have said they will tour the US in June, to coincide with the release of new album 'AMNESIAC'.

Guitarist Ed O'Brien and bassist Colin Greenwood appeared on LA radio station KROQ yesterday morning (February 20). They revealed Radiohead plan to tour the West Coast of the US in June. Proposed cities include Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and Santa Barbara, according to the unofficial Radiohead website www.followmearound.com.

A tour of the East Coast is anticipated later in the summer. The band have already confirmed their first European dates at the sister Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park festivals in Germany over the weekend of June 1-3. The band are also rumoured to be interested in performing at a UK version of the Tibetan Freedom Concert later in the summer.

A UK spokesperson for the band told NME.COM he was unaware of any confirmed US shows, but did confirm rumours that O'Brien would be appearing with ex-Crowded House singer Neil Finn's band on his forthcoming tour of New Zealand, due to start later in the month.
