Radiohead kicked off their UK arena tour last night (October 6) with a show at Manchester Evening News Arena.

The Oxford band delivered a set which drew heavily upon their latest album 'King Of Limbs' but also included classic tracks such as 'Paranoid Android', 'Planet Telex' and 'Idioteque'.

Frontman Thom Yorke introduced himself to the crowd by joking "I'm Lady Gaga" but he and his bandmates didn't need the myriad costume changes and stage theatrics employed by the 'Born This Way' singer as they got their set off to an electric start with 'King Of Limbs' track 'Lotus Flower' and 'Airbag', the opening track from 1997 LP, 'OK Computer'.

They went on to play several songs from their oft-overlooked 2003 album 'Hail To The Thief', including 'Myxomatosis', 'The Gloaming' and 'There There', in addition to the likes of 'Reckoner', 'Nude' and 'Weird Fishes/Arpeggi' from 'In Rainbows'. Other tracks played from 'King Of Limbs’ included 'Bloom', 'Feral', 'Morning Mr Magpie' and 'Separator'.

The band's first set was drawn to a close with 'Paranoid Android', before they returned for the first of three encores. The crowd serenaded Yorke with a blast of 'Happy Birthday' (the singer turns 44 today) before the band returned the favour with new track 'Full Stop', which they previously debuted on their US tour, and 'Kid A' highlight 'How To Disappear Completely'.

Another encore saw them play 'Give Up The Ghost' and 'Everything In Its Right Place' before they returned for a final time to finish off the gig with 'Idioteque'. Scroll down and click below to see footage of the band playing 'Airbag' and 'Full Stop'.
