"Over the past few years it has been fantastic to see bands that have been completely unknown move up the stage at the Festival, right up to the main stage, this is another phenomenal new band line-up."

Carnabells have been added to the Festival Republic Stage after winning the Futuresound Competition. Crybabycry, Tabloids, Forever Cult, Allusondrugs and Vendettas have also been added to the bill.

This year's Reading and Leeds festivals take place from August 22 to 24. The line-up includes Queens Of The Stone Age, Arctic Monkeys and Blink-182.
