Foo Fighters will also play the European festival next year

Rage Against The Machine will headline the Pinkpop festival, set to take place on May 30, 31 and June 1 2008 in Landgraaf, Holland.

Festival organisers have also announced that Foo Fighters will also play a headline slot at the festival.

Rage Against The Machine split up in 2000, but reformed to play at the Coachella festival earlier this year before playing headline slots of their own in the USA.

As well as their Pinkpop appearance, they are set to perform at the Big Day Out festival in Australia and New Zealand in early 2008.
