Rage Against The Machine's Zack de la Rocha has suggested that it is unlikely that the reformed band, set to headline the Reading And Leeds Festivals on August 22 and 23 respectively, will record new material.

The star told the Los Angeles Times that he was getting on well with his bandmates, but that there were no plans to record new songs.

"As far as us recording music in the future, I don't know where we all fit with that," he said. "We've all embraced each other's projects and support them, and that's great."

Before the band reformed last year, de la Rocha left Rage Against The Machine in 2000. In the interview he claimed he now had a strong relationship with the other band members.

"So much has changed [since originally leaving the band]," he said. "When you get older, you look back on tensions and grievances and have another perspective on it. I think our relationship now is better than it's ever been. I would even describe it as great."

Meanwhile Rage Against The Machine are currently the band fans are most looking forward to seeing at the Reading And Leeds Festivals.
