Rage Against The Machine's Tom Morello has backed efforts to send their track 'Killing In The Name' to Number One ahead of The X Factor winner Joe McElderry.
Fans started a campaign via Facebook to encourage people to download the classic track this week, and currently both songs are battling each other ahead of the chart being announced on Sunday (December 20).
Morello has lent his support to the campaign, using Twitter to voice his approval.
"Rage's 'Killing In The Name' & The X Factor's goofy Christmas single are neck and neck for num one spot on UK chart," he wrote. "England! Now is your time."
Make sure you tune in to NME.COM at 7pm (GMT) on Sunday to see which song bags the Christmas Number One.
