The Ramones are set to be the unlikely subject of a musical.
’Gabba Gabba Hey’ takes place at London’s KOKO from July 31 and will run until August 5.
It is set to feature the last surviving original Ramone Tommy Ramone performing along with special guests including Angie Bowie, Hugh Cornwell and Tony James.
The house band will feature former Clash guitarist Nick Sheppard.
According to the official website the "world’s first punk musical" contains 18 Ramones classics strung together through a “post modern fairy tale about the redeeming power of love”.
