Tales From Planet Rock: Ramones museum forced out
Landlord kicks out tribute to the New Yorkers
The only Ramones museum in the world is being forced to close by their landlord.
The German-based museum currently occupies a place at Solmsstrasse faces the prospect of closing and not re-opening for an unknown period of time.
The museum contains 300 original band items, including unpublished photographs, signed posters, setlists and original T-shirts and other collectibles.
Museum spokesperson Florian Hayler said: “We would really like to find a place so we could have a bigger and better museum that will grow but at the moment we have nowhere to go.”
