MUSIC LEGENDS PLAN TRIBUTE AT RAY CHARLES' FUNERAL

The star has some very famous friends paying respect in style....

Stevie Wonder, WILLIE NELSON, and BB KING will pay tribute to RAY CHARLES at his funeral.

The legends will pay musical homage to Charles, who died last week suffering from liver disease, at his funeral in Los Angeles on Friday (June 18).

His coffin will be placed in the First African Methodist Episcopal Church on Thursday for fans to pay their respects to the blind soul star.

A family spokesman for Charles commented yesterday that Stevie Wonder, King and Nelson's tribute "will be a very moving goodbye", reports the BBC.

Producer Quincy Jones, former US president Bill Clinton and comedian Bill Cosby are expected to attend Charles' funeral.

Charles, who was to tour again later in the year, was most famed for songs such as 'Georgia on My Mind', 'Hit the Road Jack' and 'I Can't Stop Loving You'. During his 58-year career he played over 10,000 concerts.
