Third LP set for 'classic rock vibe'

Razorlight drummer Andy Burrows has revealed details about what his band’s forthcoming third album will sound like.

Speaking to the Daily Star, Burrows explained that he and his bandmates are in the writing stage of the album, and are all excited about beginning recording the follow-up to 2006's 'Razorlight' soon.

“There’ll be some heavy rock stuff,” Burrows said, when asked what the new material would sound like. “(There’ll be) a heavier classic rock vibe.

“We have a lot of material. Johnny (Borrell, Razorlight frontman) hasn’t stopped (writing). There’s so much stuff kicking about so it’s very exciting."

Speaking about the forthcoming recording sessions, Burrows added: “We’ll just go whichever way the music takes us. We definitely want to make a brave record and not worry about whether it’s the right or wrong thing to do.

“We’re all pitching in with music, but Johnny’s the one who’s got to sing from his heart every night,” he added, suggesting that Borrell is leading the way when it comes to lyric writing.
