Razorlight announce North American tour
Razorlight
They'll road-test new material for US audiences
Razorlight have announced a string of North American dates, kicking off November 7 in Boston.
Currently preparing material for their third album, the band plan to preview new songs on the jaunt, according to frontmanJohnny Borrell:
“We proved a lot with the band’s second album, I think we grew as songwriters and took Razorlight to a new level which these days seems pretty rare with bands on their second record,” he said. “But the process of songwriting is just how I live my life and collectively we’ve already started to come up with strong ideas. Part of what I’m looking forward to about being in the US is that we can showcase songs that are coming together for album three. ”
“We’ve spent most of this year trying to find time to tour in the States, so we’re really looking forward to finally getting to play these shows. We felt we made a real connection with the US fans when we were over in the spring, so we want to build on that,” he concluded.
They will play:
Cambridge, MA Middle East (November 7)
New York, NY The Fillmore (9)
Toronto, ON Phoenix (11)
Chicago, IL Metro (13)
Seattle, WA Neumo's (15)
San Francisco, CA Mezzanine (17)
Los Angeles, CA Henry Fonda (19)
