Andy Burrows' debut solo album will be released next month

Razorlight drummer Andy Burrows has released the full details of his forthcoming debut solo album.

Proceeds from 'The Colour Of My Dreams', released on May 26, will go to the Naomi House Jack's Place appeal, a Winchester-based children's charity.

The album features Burrows singing poems written by friend and poet Peter Dixon, and clocks in at under 20 minutes. It was recorded at Burrows' home in summer 2007.

"'Andy Burrows goes solo!'" joked the Razorlight man to NME.COM. "I was in sweats after hearing that for the first time. I'd say it's a mini cute little record."

For the first solo album interview with Burrows, see the new issue of NME, on sale now.
