Razorlight frontman replaces Pete Doherty

Johnny Borrell has been announced as the replacement for Pete Doherty at an invite-only event in Shoreditch (April 10), after the Babyshambles singer was sent to jail.

Borrell joins Soko, Holly Golightly And The Brokeoffs and Rosie Oddie And The Odd Squad at the party, which will also feature DJ sets from Midnight Juggernauts and The Horrors.

Pete Doherty's cancellation of his performance at Sony Walkman's 'Walkman Presents Spring Fling' follows his sentencing to 14 weeks in jail for failing to turn up to probation hearings on time and drug use.

Doherty's sentence has forced him to postpone a scheduled solo show at the Royal Albert Hall in London on April 26.

If he serves his sentence in full he could also miss his slot at the Glastonbury festival.
