Razorlight play gig on roof of Amy Winehouse's favourite pub
Band play show on roof of Hawley Arms in London tonight (Nov 7)
Performing on the balcony of the boozer that has only just reopened after being damaged in February's Camden fire, the band - all regulars - played to a crowd who braved the cold on the pavement opposite.
Recalling their gig on the roof of east London's Bricklayer's Arms for the launch of their debut album, the band showcased several tracks from third record 'Slipway Fires' which was released on Monday (November 3).
Opening with former single 'In The Morning', frontman Johnny Borrell then scaled the balcony's rails to sing 'North London Trash'.
"Thank you so much for coming," Borrell told the crowd. "It's amazing to be up here and it's amazing to see so many people."
Including current single 'Slipway Fires', the band closed with 'In The City'.
Leaving the makeshift stage drummer Andy Burrows introduced his counterpart from The Killers Ronnie Vannucci who was watching the band from the pub's balcony.
"I've been nervous before two gigs in my life, the Bricklayers and tonight," Borrell told NME.COM after the show. "You worry no one will turn up, but that was great. It was to see to many people, it was really good to get out there and play."
Razorlight played:
'In The Morning'
'North London Trash'
'Fall To Pieces'
'Golden Touch'
'Slipway Fires'
'Somewhere Else'
'In The City'
