Cold War Kids debut new song at Carling Weekend: Leeds Festival
NME/ Radio 1 Tent gets to hear 'Dreamy' track first

Cold War Kids debuted a new song at Carling Weekend: Leeds Festival today (August 24).
The band played the sweeping ballad ’Dreams Me Old Dream’ in the NME/Radio 1 tent.
Singer Nathan Willet introduced the track by saying: “We’re Cold War Kids and we’re honoured to be here. This is a new song.”
The biggest cheers came for ’St John’ which culminated in a stirring duet between Willet and guitarist Jonnie Russell.
Closer ’Hospital Beds’ led to a mass sing a long between the audience as Russell conducted the crowd to join into the lyrics: “Put out the fire on us.”
