Bloc Party: 'We're going straight to the studio'
Band reveal plans at Carling Weekend: Reading And Leeds Festivals

Bloc Party are heading to the studio on Monday (August 27) the band have told NME.COM backstage at the Carling Weekend: Reading Festival.
The group will head too Jacknife Lee’s home studio in southeast England to start work on their third album.
Bassist Gordon Moakes said: “We’ve got around 12 songs. The idea was to put a new single out these year but actually we’re not going to put pressure on ourselves, we’re just going to see how it goes.”
Prior to their festival appearance on the main stage this afternoon, the group have been rehearsing in London working on the new material.
