Oxegen line-up announced
The Irish festival reveals stellar bill
Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Who have been confirmed as the headline acts for this year’s Oxegen festival.
The US funk rockers and the Mod legends and will top the Main Stage billing on Sunday (July 9) and Saturday (July 8) respectively at Ireland’s Punchestown Racecourse.
Also set for the first day of the event are The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, Richard Ashcroft, Primal Scream and , while the second day will see performances from Kaiser Chiefs, Franz Ferdinand, Sigur Ros, Manu Chao and Damian Marley.
The Spirit Dance Arena will feature sets from Felix Da Housecat and .
Tickets for Oxegen 2006 will go on sale on March 3 at 8am.
