Red Hot Chili Peppers postpone Japanese dates
Frontman Kiedis is battling bronchitis
Red Hot Chili Peppers have announced the postponement of their tour dates in Japan this month.
Lead singer Anthony Kiedis has been diagnosed with bronchial pneumonia, and has been ordered by his doctor not to fly for ten days.
The band were set to play Osaka's Kyocera Dome and the Tokyo Dome on March 22 and 23.
In a message on the Red Hot Chili Peppers' official website, the band said that they will announce the rescheduled dates as soon as the details of their world tour have been confirmed. They anticipate they'll be rescheduled for this fall.
The band added: "The Red Hot Chili Peppers wishes to tell all of the Japanese fans how sorry they are to not be able to play the shows as scheduled but are very much looking forward to seeing them soon.
"Please accept our deepest apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused."
