Red Hot Chili Peppers unveil new guitarist during Neil Young cover - video
Red Hot Chili Peppers have made their first public performance with new guitarist Josh Klinghoffer.

The band, featuring their new addition, covered Neil Young's 'A Man Needs A Maid' at the 2010 MusiCares Person Of The Year event in Los Angeles on January 29.

Klinghoffer has reportedly replaced John Frusciante full-time in the band, although no official announcement has been made regarding his appointment. [url=http://www.nme.com/news/red-hot-chili-peppers/48928]Frusciante confirmed he had quit in December[/url, saying that he actually left the band "over a year ago" because his musical ambitions had "changed". He added that he remains on good terms with his former bandmates.
