Tickets for Red Hot Chili Peppers' Knebworth and Sunderland shows onsale today

Tickets for the Red Hot Chili Peppers' huge outdoor shows in June 2012 go onsale this morning (November 4) at 9am (GMT).

The band, who released their tenth studio album 'I'm With You' earlier this year, will play Knebworth Park near Stevenage on June 23 and Sunderland's Stadium Of Light on June 24.

Knebworth Park has hosted legendary gigs from Oasis and Led Zeppelin in the past and has a potential capacity of over 200,000.

Red Hot Chili Peppers will also undertake a UK and Ireland arena tour this month, which will take in nine shows, including two nights at London's O2 Arena.
