Red Hot Chili Peppers' Flea to reveal Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame inductees next week
Red Hot Chili Peppers' bass player Flea will reveal 2013's Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame inductees next week in Los Angeles.

At 11am (PT) on December 11 Flea will unveil the names of the new crop of members at the Nokia Theatre. The 28th annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place on April 18, 2013 at the same venue. This will be the first time the ceremony has been held in Los Angeles since 1993.

Donna Summer, Deep Purple and Public Enemy are among the 15 nominations for 2013's Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame.

The other hopefuls are Chic, Rush, Albert King, Heart, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Kraftwerk, The Marvellettes, The Meters, NWA, Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Procul Harum and Randy Newman.

Red Hot Chili Peppers were inducted earlier this year, alongside Beastie Boys, Guns N' Roses, Laura Nyro, Donovan and The Faces/Small Faces.

The Hollywood Reporter states that performers eligible for induction in the 2014 Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame, include Nirvana, Traveling Wilburys, Soundgarden, Morrissey and The Offspring. Acts can only be nominated 25 years after forming.
