The influential band originally parted ways in 1998, months after they released their much praised studio album 'The Shape Of Punk To Come', but reformed earlier this year, stating that they felt the time was now right and that which they feel they "didn't do 'The Shape Of Punk To Come' justice when it was first released".

The band will first play London's HMV Forum on August 12 and then move onto Manchester's Academy on August 14. They are also on the bill for this weekend's Download Festival.

Writing about their plans for their UK shows, the band said: "The Queen just had her Jubilee, Download's happening this weekend and now we're extremely happy to announce that we will be playing a couple of club shows in the UK in August. London and Manchester be ready. WE ARE NOT FUCKING DEAD."

The shows still in a packed tour schedule for the Swedish band, which includes festival dates all across Europe and the US. They have not said as yet whether they will be extending their reunion beyond the end of 2012.
