REM announce UK stadium tour
R.E.M have announced a UK stadium tour for August.

The shows, which will take place in Manchester, Cardiff, Southampton and Twickenham, follow the band’s performances at Oxegen and T In The Park festivals in July.

As previously announced, R.E.M will also play a special gig at London’s Royal Albert Hall on March 24, also featuring Robyn Hitchcock, Foals and The Duke Spirit.

The band release their new album 'Accelerate' on March 31.

The UK dates are:

Manchester Lancashire County Cricket Club (August 24)
Cardiff Millennium Stadium (25)
Southampton Rose Bowl (27)
London Twickenham Stadium (30)


Tickets go on sale on Friday (February 29) at 9am.
