REM and Faithless film scoops award at film festival
'What About Me' wins best documentary at Red Rock
A film featuring REM's Michael Stipe, Alanis Morissette and Faithless singer Maxi Jazz has won an award at the Red Rock Film Festival.
1 Giant Leap, a global philosophy and music concept band featuring Faithless co-founder Jamie Catto, won best documentary for 'What About Me' at the US event.
The film gives an insight into universal issues and collective insanity focusing on issues such how people are ego-driven, insatiable in desire, wounded by childhood and unable to stop thinking.
Unscripted, with no story board, insightful conversations are captured with with the likes of Noam Chomsky, Eckhart Tolle, Deepak Chopra and Bob Geldof.
