Sasquatch! Festival announces 2009 dates
Washington event will feature expanded dance and comedy tents
The Sasquatch! Music Festival has announced its dates for 2009.
The annual event, which will take place at the Gorge Amphitheatre along the canyons of the Columbia River in Washington State, is set for Memorial Day weekend, May 23-25.
This year's festival will include a newly expanded Comedy & Dance Tent, which will feature performances from comedians throughout the day, and spotlight electronic and dance music artists at night.
The festival's complete lineup will be announced February 17. Past headliners have included REM, MIA, Arcade Fire, Coldplay, Beastie Boys, Bjork, Beck, Nine Inch Nails, Pixies, Wilco and Kanye West.
