HELL IS ROUND THE CORNER

A book charting the career and work of punk figurehead RICHARD HELL is set to be published in February 2002.

'Hot And Cold: The Works Of Richard Hell' will be published by Powerhouse Books on February 7. It contains examples of all of Hell's work from essays, poems, notebooks, drawings and photos to lyrics from every song he has ever recorded.

A double compilation of the Television co-founder's work is also due to appear in 2002. The untitled album will include tracks recorded by Hell and his seminal outfit The Voidoids, including previously unreleased live shows from London in 1977 and New York in 1978, which include versions of 'Love Comes In Spurts' and 'Blank Generation'.
