Richie Hawtin, Matthew Dear for Minitek in New York

New music festival hosts eletronic acts

Richie Hawtin, Matthew Dear and Francois K are among the acts set to perform at the very first Minitek Music Festival, taking place in New York from September 12 – 14.

The acts will perform at two locations – the day shows taking place at Coney Island and the evening event at Penn Plaza, with Teifschwarz, Guy Gerner, Magda, M.A.N.D.Y. and more among the other acts performing.

The event will feature the ‘Minitek Village’ which is described as “a place to explore, watch, try out, discover, learn, wonder and get inspired”. New music technology will be demonstrated, new music will be previewed and new designers will show collections.

Tickets are on sale exclusively on residentadvisor.net with weekend passes costing $80 plus fees, and VIP Weekend Passes priced at $175 plus fees.
