Rihanna set for first gig since Chris Brown incident
'Disturbia' singer will perform a set in Dubai
Rihanna is set to perform live for the first time since an incident in February in which Chris Brown allegedly beat her up.
The singer will perform in Dubai for 25,000 people on May 28 and tickets are due to go on sale in the next couple of days.
E! News reports that the venue has yet to be decided on, but the gig has been confirmed by Mary Rachelle Cherpak, a spokeswoman for Dubai Tourism who said “Normally they create a special stage in the desert for these events."
Rihanna and Brown were both due to perform at the Grammys on February 8, but cancelled after an alleged fight after Clive Davis’ Pre Grammy party the night before.
