Rihanna ordered to appear in court
She is required to answer questions in Chris Brown's case
Rihanna has been served with a subpoena to testify against former boyfriend Chris Brown after he allegedly assaulted her.
Prosecutors in Los Angeles notified the singer on Tuesday, and her lawyer Donald Etra told People that: "If the preliminary hearing indeed goes forward, she is now legally required to be there, she will be there, and will answer all questions truthfully."
The hearing, which is set for June 22, is taking place to establish if Brown will stand trial for the assault charges.
Brown allegedly assaulted Rihanna in his car in the early hours of February 8 as the pair left Clive Davis' Pre-Grammy party.
