Rihanna was spotted taking the Tube alongside fans on their way to her concert at London's O2 Arena last night (October 5). The 23-year-old and her entourage took the Jubilee underground line to North Greenwich station for the first of 10 shows at the 20,000 capacity venue – a record number of shows at the O2 Arena for a female solo artist.

The star and her security guards then jumped into a waiting car for the short journey backstage. A source told The Sun:

Fans couldn't believe they were sharing a carriage with a world famous pop star. She was just like any other passenger, except accompanied by a huge entourage. She was happy to pose for snaps and talk about the gig. She was so down to earth.

After the show, Rihanna took to Twitter to say:

BEST SHOW EVERRR!!!!

While Rihanna was onstage, she won Best International Star at the Mobo awards, which were taking place in Glasgow. Other big winners included Jessie J, Tinchy Stryder, Dappy, Adele, Tinie Tempah and Boys II Men, who were given the Outstanding Contribution award.

Rihanna also announced last night that her new album is to be titled 'Talk That Talk', and will be released on November 21.
