Rihanna is set to release a brand new album this November, according to reports.

The singer will apparently follow 2011's 'Talk That Talk' with a new, unnamed LP this autumn. Billboard writes that the pop star will also release the album's first single on September 17.

The news about Rihanna's seventh studio album was accidently leaked by her label Def Jam's French wing, who hastily deleted their tweet breaking news of the record. They went on to write that more information about the release would follow tomorrow (September 13).

The Vaccines' frontman Justin Young recently said that he listens to Rihanna every day and that he feels "terrible" about the band's previous comments that the singer "isn't an artist".

Last month, guitarist Freddie Cowan said that he thought Rihanna lacked credibility because she brings other people in to do all her work. "Rihanna isn't an artist – she has 15 writers, 15 songwriters and 15 producers all fighting for space on her albums and she's the face of it," he said.

"I feel terrible about that whole thing," Young says. "I listen to Rihanna on a daily fucking basis, really! Just because she's got songwriters, doesn't mean she's not artistic. I definitely think she is a real artist and she's very creative, just in another way. And for the people who write Rihanna's songs: they're fucking genius. That just got picked up all wrong, I love her!"
