Rihanna to debut catwalk collection at London Fashion Week
Pop star's fashion line for River Island will hit shops on March 5
The singer's first collection for high street retailer River Island will show on the catwalk on Saturday, February 16. The items will be available in shops and online from March 5.
According to Vogue, Rihanna said: "Launching at London Fashion Week is a dream come true for me. I have wanted to design my own collection for a long time and to present my collection for River Island alongside all of the other great design talent at LFW is a real privilege. I can't wait to see the reaction from my fans and the fashion press!"
Rihanna recently equaled Madonna's UK Album Chart record when her seventh album 'Unapologetic' was released on November 19, 2012. The album was the Bajan's singer's third consecutive UK Number One, following on from 2010's 'Talk That Talk' and 2010's 'Loud', selling almost 100,000 copies in its first week alone.
At the end of last year, she completed her ambitious '777 Tour', which saw 150 journalists follow the star around the world as she played seven gigs in seven countries over seven days.
