Rihanna has obtained a restraining order against a stalker who broke into her house last month.

Jonathan Whooper was taken into custody on October 4 after he was confronted by security and recognised as the individual who threw a chair through the singer's patio door in her LA home in September 29. Now a judge has issued a restraining order against him.

According to TMZ, the judge "issued a temporary restraining order against Whooper, ordering him to stay at least 100 yards away" from Rihanna's residence. The US gossip website also claims Whooper allegedly shouted "Do you know who I am? I'm Rihanna's future husband," while being arrested earlier this month.

Rihanna was in court herself this summer, after she triumphed in a legal battle with Topshop over a T-shirt that bears her image. A High Court judge, Mr Justice Birss, ruled that a "substantial number" of customers could have been duped into buying the T-shirt because it looked as though Rihanna herself had approved it. The picture printed on the garment, the singer's lawyers argued, was "very similar" to images used on one of her album sleeves.
