METAL 'BRICK HOUSE'!

Rob Zombie has teamed up with LIONEL RICHIE for a remake of THE COMMODORES' disco track 'BRICK HOUSE'.

The song has been re-recorded in a hardcore metal style for the soundtrack of Rob Zombie's debut movie 'House Of 1000 Corpses', which he has written and directed. The track, which originally reached the Top 40 in the UK in 1977 as a double A-side with 'Sweet Love', will feature a guest appearance from Richie and rapper Trina.

The soundtrack album will also include brand new Rob Zombie tracks, plus the title song, which featured on his 2001 album 'The Sinister Urge'. Other artists on the soundtrack include
Ramones ('Now I Wanna Sniff Some Glue') and 50's country star Slim Whitman's 'I Remember You'.

The film, which was filmed in 2000 and denied release by Universal Pictures because it was "at odds with [their] motion picture-releasing strategy", is slated for release in the US in April through Lion's Gate pictures. No UK date has yet been announced.

In the movie, two lost couples find themselves stranded for the night in an old dark house where they are set upon by the family in residence that dabbles in murder, witchcraft, and cannibalism, just a few of the secrets buried in the field behind their house.
