Rob Zombie has unveiled his newly directed advert for American washing detergent Woolite.

The famed horror movie director and White Zombie member has crafted a gruesome, horror inspired advert for the washing brand entitled The Torturer. The video can be viewed below.

The clothing in the advert is treated like a horror movie victim throughout the 30 second clip, subjected to stretching, shrinking and fading, with the final warning: "Don't let detergent torture your clothes!". A Facebook campaign associated with the new advert has been started up at Facebook.com/wooliteus.

The House Of 1000 Corpses and Halloween remake director previously revealed that doing the advert was a little different from his usual cinematic enterprises: "It was sort of strange, but I love doing stuff like that."
