'SOMETHIN''S HAPPENING!

The singer's single and album top the midweek charts...

'SOMETHIN''S HAPPENING!
Robbie Williams' campaign for a Christmas chart double remains on course following the publication of midweek sales figures today.

His duet with Nicole Kidman, a cover of Nancy and Frank Sinatra's 'Somethin' Stupid', is currently this week's highest new entry at Number One, and is set to finish Daniel Bedingfield's 'Gotta Get Thru This'' two-week stint at the top.

Robbie Williams's album of Big Band covers, 'Swing When You're Winning', is also at Number One in the midweek album charts. It looks likely there will be no major new entries in ths UK album charts this week.

Other singles that are on course to become new entries inside the Top Ten this week include Ian Van Dahl's 'Will I', which is currently at Number Five, and Samantha Mumba's 'Lately' at Number Ten. Elsewhere, Feeder are at Number 11 with 'Just A Day' and Janet Jackson is at Number 14 with 'Son Of A Gun'.
