AILING VALE SEEK ROBBIE'S HELP
Port Vale write to the star after encountering serious financial difficulties...
ROBBIE WILLIAMS' favourite football team have contacted him to see if he can help them out of their financial problems.
Port Vale FC are one of many English football clubs in financial difficulty, and went into administration earlier this year.
Administrator Bob Young told BBC news that he's written to Robbie, hoping the star can help with the club's estimated debts of £2million.
He said: "I don't think that we can rely on there being some saviour out there who's suddenly going to pump hundreds of thousands, or millions, of pounds into this club. Being where we are, everyone talks about Robbie Williams .
"I have got a letter through to Robbiein Los Angeles. He knows this club's for sale but I don't think we should rely on the fact that he's going to bail us out."
Robbie recently signed a new record deal, worth an estimated £80 million.
